A Letter from Total Soccer Growth - Central Coast Mariners

Total Soccer Growth shares a letter with Central Coast Mariners, focusing on development strategies and fostering community involvement in soccer.

In an exciting announcement for Central Coast Mariners fans, Ruben, the owner of Total Soccer Growth (TSG), expressed his enthusiasm for the club's future following its recent acquisition. TSG, which also holds stakes in Queens Park Rangers and Los Angeles FC, is eager to integrate the Mariners into its global football network.

A Passionate Community

Ruben highlighted the Mariners' passionate fanbase, the club's history of developing exceptional Australian football talent, and the community's vast potential as key factors that attracted TSG to the club. He emphasized the ambition to create a team that the Central Coast can truly take pride in, aiming for success both on and off the pitch.

Focus on Development

While TSG has acquired the A-League men's team and the youth Academy for both boys and girls, it has opted not to include the A-League Women’s team in this acquisition. Ruben explained that TSG lacks the necessary expertise in professional women's football and believes it is essential to ensure proper management of the team. The APL is currently seeking a partner for the women’s team, with plans for them to participate in the 2026-27 season.

Ruben also stressed the importance of player development, stating that the Academy will serve as the foundation for attracting talent and providing a clear pathway for young players aspiring to reach the top levels of football.

Engagement with Fans

Off the pitch, TSG aims to foster a meaningful connection with the local community. Ruben committed to engaging with fan groups and supporter communities during the transition, emphasizing the importance of listening to their concerns and aspirations. Operational control will officially transfer on July 1, 2026, with Matt Simon continuing as Sporting Director and working on the club's playing and coaching structure.

As the Mariners embark on this new chapter, fans can expect further updates regarding the upcoming season, including details on membership, ticketing, and the playing program. Ruben's letter reflects a commitment to building a proud and successful future for the Central Coast Mariners.
