Villa sign striker Abraham for £18.25m
Aston Villa has completed the signing of striker Tammy Abraham for £18.25 million. This move aims to enhance the team's offensive capabilities.

England striker Tammy Abraham has made a return to Aston Villa, completing a transfer from Besiktas for £18.25 million. The 28-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League club, marking his return to England after joining Roma in 2021.
Transfer Details
Abraham was on loan at Besiktas, where the Turkish club activated their buy option for £11 million. Aston Villa will pay a total fee of 21 million euros (£18.25 million) to Besiktas. Villa manager Unai Emery had been in search of a striker to support Ollie Watkins and has had a long-standing interest in Abraham, who previously played for Villa on loan during the 2018-19 season, scoring 26 goals in 40 appearances and helping the team gain promotion from the Championship.
"Some clubs play a big part in your journey and stay with you," Abraham stated. "I've scored goals, faced challenges, and grown as a player and as a man. I'm back at Aston Villa, ready to work and give everything."
Upcoming Matches and Additional Transfers
Abraham may make his debut against Brentford on Sunday, although he is not registered to play in the Europa League match against Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday. As part of the transfer agreement, Villa midfielder Yasin Ozcan, who has been on loan at Anderlecht this season, will join Besiktas.
Aston Villa currently sits third in the Premier League, four points behind leaders Arsenal, following a 2-0 victory against Newcastle on Sunday. Additionally, former Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is expected to return to the club on loan from Nottingham Forest before the transfer deadline.
