Tottenham Hotspur have finalized an agreement to sign Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, marking a significant addition to their squad as they also secure a deal for his teammate Savinho. Marmoush Deal Details

According to The Athletic, Marmoush is set to undergo a medical examination with Tottenham after a loan agreement was reached with City. The deal includes an obligation to purchase the player for £50 million (€59.4 million), along with potential add-ons amounting to £10 million (€11.7 million). Marmoush is expected to sign a four-year contract with Spurs, which includes an option for an additional year.

Clarification on Financial Terms

Despite some speculation, it has been confirmed that Eintracht Frankfurt, Marmoush's former club, will not receive a sell-on clause from this transfer. Florian Plettenberg, a reporter for Sky Sport Germany, clarified on social media that Frankfurt received their full desired fee of €75 million, plus an additional €5 million in bonuses when Marmoush initially moved to City. He emphasized that all payment obligations to Frankfurt have been satisfied, dismissing claims that Manchester City structured the deal to evade a sell-on payment.

Marmoush's transfer will make him Tottenham's eighth signing of the summer, as the club aims to rebound from a disappointing previous season and a tough opening match against Brentford. With a total potential expenditure of €170 million to Manchester City if all add-ons are met for both Marmoush and Savinho, Spurs are keen to bolster their squad under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
