Tairyk Arconte: Millwall sign forward from Rodez - BBC Sport
Millwall has secured the services of forward Tairyk Arconte from Rodez. The signing aims to bolster the team's attack as they prepare for the new season.

Millwall Football Club has officially announced the signing of forward Tairyk Arconte from French second division side Rodez. The transfer fee for the 22-year-old Guadeloupe international remains undisclosed.
Impressive Track Record
During the previous season, Arconte made a significant impact in Ligue 2, netting 14 goals in 32 appearances. Notably, 13 of those goals were scored while he was with Rodez, a club he rejoined after a stint at Pau. This marks his second tenure with Rodez, having previously played for the team on loan while he was contracted to Brest.
Director's Comments
Millwall's director of football, Steve Gallen, emphasized the need for patience as Arconte adapts to his new environment. He acknowledged that the forward is making a substantial transition, moving to a different league, country, and language. Gallen stated, "Those are real adjustments that take time, and we're prepared to give him that runway." He further described Arconte as a "strong, quick, centre forward who wants to score goals," expressing confidence in the player's potential for development at the Championship level.
With this signing, Millwall aims to bolster their attacking options as they look to enhance their performance in the league.
