Newcastle Knights veteran Dane Gagai is set to conclude his career at Brisbane Broncos after signing a one-year contract. This move marks a significant return for Gagai, who last played for the Broncos in 2012 before his contract was terminated due to disciplinary issues.

The 35-year-old Gagai, currently in excellent form, was unable to secure a new contract with the Knights for the 2027 season.
