FC Internazionale Milano has officially announced the acquisition of Spanish defender Sheila García on a permanent transfer from Real Madrid. García has committed to the club with a contract that runs until June 30, 2029.

Sheila García, born on March 15, 1997, in Yunquera de Henares, Guadalajara, began her football journey at her local club, Club Deportivo Yunquera. She made her debut in the Primera División with Rayo Vallecano in 2016, marking the start of her professional career in Madrid. Over five seasons with Rayo, García showcased her versatility, particularly on the right flank, and earned her first call-up to the Spanish national team.

International Experience

García made her international debut in 2019 and later participated in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. Throughout her time at Rayo Vallecano, she made 135 appearances and scored 20 goals. In 2021, she moved to Atletico Madrid before joining Real Madrid in 2024.
