Arsenal and Besiktas have reportedly reached an agreement for the transfer of Leandro Trossard, with a deal valued at €20 million, according to a report from The Athletic. This development comes amid ongoing speculation regarding Trossard's future at the North London club, suggesting that his time with Arsenal may be nearing its conclusion.

Trossard's Journey at Arsenal

The 31-year-old Belgian international joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023, following the club's unsuccessful pursuit of Mykhaylo Mudryk, who ultimately signed with Chelsea. Trossard's transfer fee of £23 million was considerably lower than the nearly £100 million that would have been required for Mudryk, a decision that some have viewed as fortuitous given Mudryk's difficulties in adapting to English football and his subsequent doping ban.

Despite some lean periods, Trossard has demonstrated quality and consistency during his time at Arsenal. Over 174 appearances, he scored 36 goals and provided 34 assists, proving to be a reliable presence in a squad often plagued by injuries.
