Rangers have finalized the signing of centre-back Olwethu Makhanya from Philadelphia Union for a fee of approximately £3 million. The 22-year-old becomes the club's eighth signing of the summer transfer window, joining a list that includes Vanja Dragojevic, Lawrence Shankland, Cammy Devlin, Ben Godfrey, Ross McCrorie, Dan Neil, and Ivor Pandur.
