The South Sydney Rabbitohs have officially announced the signing of Jack Wighton, a distinguished player who has earned accolades such as the Dally M Medal and the Clive Churchill Medal. Wighton will join the Rabbitohs for a minimum of four seasons, extending his contract until at least the end of the 2027 season.

Wighton's Versatility and Experience

At 30 years old, Wighton is recognized as one of the most versatile talents in rugby league, capable of playing in various positions across the backline. While he has primarily played as a centre in representative football, his physicality allows him to also perform effectively at lock or in the second row. His impressive career includes seven Test matches for Australia, ten State of Origin appearances for New South Wales, and participation in the Indigenous All Stars, Country Origin, and the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII.
