The 25-year-old Nieuwenhof began his football career at Manly United before making his A-League debut with Sydney FC in January 2021. His impressive performances earned him a spot in the PFA A-League Team of the Season and led to a subsequent move to Hearts, where he signed a four-year contract and has since played nearly 50 matches.
