Perth Glory sign attacker Henry Hore on two-year deal: A-Leagues
Perth Glory has announced the signing of attacker Henry Hore on a two-year deal, enhancing their offensive options for the A-League. Hore's addition is expected to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.

Perth Glory has continued its active off-season recruitment by announcing the signing of attacker Henry Hore on a two-year contract. The 26-year-old Hore returns to the club where he spent his formative years in the academy before moving back to Queensland in 2019.
Career Highlights
After leaving Perth Glory, Hore joined Brisbane Roar in 2021, where he made over 100 appearances and scored 20 goals across all competitions. His time at Brisbane also included a six-month loan spell at Korean club Gangwon FC, after which he returned to the Roar for the latter part of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Hore's Return
Expressing his excitement about returning to Perth, Hore stated, “To be returning is really special. I do feel that I have some unfinished business.” He reflected on his time at the club, mentioning the great memories and friendships he formed. Hore also praised HBF Park, calling it “one of the best stadiums in the league,” and expressed his eagerness to contribute to the team's success.
Club's Perspective
Football Director Stan Lazaridis shared his enthusiasm for the signing, noting that Hore is a versatile, left-sided player who fits the club's needs. He highlighted Hore's technical skills and goal-scoring ability, stating, “He’s no stranger to the club or the city, he really suits the style of football that Griff wants to play.” Hore becomes the fourth signing for Perth Glory this off-season, joining former Brisbane Roar teammate Matthew Dench and ex-Newcastle Jets player Lucas Scicluna, as well as former Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Calem Nieuwenhof, who is on a season-long loan from Hearts.
With these new additions, Perth Glory aims to strengthen its squad and enhance its competitive edge in the upcoming season.
