The 34-year-old forward, who scored 257 goals in 442 appearances during his nine-year stint at Liverpool, will undergo medical checks in Istanbul before finalizing his move. Earlier discussions with Besiktas, another Istanbul club, fell through due to disagreements over financial and image rights.

Upon arriving in Istanbul, Salah was greeted by hundreds of fans at Ataturk Airport, showcasing the excitement surrounding his signing.
