Milan and RB Leipzig strike €32m agreement for Nkunku sale - Football Italia
AC Milan and RB Leipzig have struck a €32 million deal for the transfer of Christopher Nkunku. This agreement highlights Milan's ambitions in the upcoming season.

Milan and RB Leipzig have reportedly reached an agreement regarding the transfer of French forward Christopher Nkunku, who is set to leave the Rossoneri after being deemed surplus to requirements by new head coach Ruben Amorim.
Details of the Transfer Agreement
According to multiple sources, the deal involves an initial season-long loan for Nkunku at a cost of €4 million, with an option for Leipzig to purchase him for an additional €28 million, bringing the total transfer fee to €32 million. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has indicated that both clubs are close to finalizing the last details of the agreement.
Nkunku's Future at Milan
Amorim has made it clear that Nkunku, along with teammates Fikayo Tomori, Youssouf Fofana, and Santiago Gimenez, will not feature in his plans for the upcoming 2026-27 season, which kicks off with a match against Torino. Nkunku's departure appears imminent as he is not part of the squad's future strategy.
Milan originally acquired Nkunku from Chelsea for €37 million last summer, excluding bonuses. During his time at the club, he scored seven goals and provided three assists in 32 Serie A appearances, along with one goal in two Coppa Italia matches. The final aspects of the deal still to be discussed include the distribution of Nkunku's reported €5 million annual salary.
