Perth Glory has announced that forward Tom Lawrence has signed a two-year contract extension with the club. The Wales international, who is 32 years old, made a significant impact after joining Glory ahead of the 2025/26 A-League season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in just 13 appearances.

Lawrence began his professional journey at Manchester United and has since played over 400 matches for various notable UK clubs, including Leicester City, Rangers, Ipswich Town, Cardiff City, Blackburn Rovers, and Derby County, netting 78 goals throughout his career. Internationally, he has represented Wales at different youth levels before making his senior debut in 2015, accumulating 23 caps and scoring three goals. During his time at Rangers, he made notable contributions in the Europa League and participated in multiple cup finals.

Since joining Perth Glory, Lawrence has made a strong impression, including a hat-trick in a match against Melbourne City. In addition to his five goals, he created 25 chances and had 45 touches in the opposition box during his time on the pitch.
