Luka Vuskovic: Brighton make £30m offer for Spurs defender as Roberto De Zerbi maintains Jan Paul van Hecke interest | Football News | Sky Sports
Brighton has reportedly made a £30 million offer for Tottenham defender Luka Vuskovic. This move comes as manager Roberto De Zerbi also expresses interest in Jan Paul van Hecke.

Brighton & Hove Albion have submitted a £30 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur's young defender Luka Vuskovic. The 19-year-old Croatian international is currently participating in the World Cup and has garnered attention following an impressive loan spell at Hamburg last season.
Impressive Loan Spell
During his time in the Bundesliga, Vuskovic established himself as one of the top young defenders, earning a spot in the league's team of the season. He notably scored six goals, the highest tally for any central defender in Germany's top flight.
Brighton's Transfer Activity
In addition to their pursuit of Vuskovic, Brighton are also interested in signing their own defender, Jan Paul van Hecke. Van Hecke previously played under Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi while at Brighton. Meanwhile, Tottenham has confirmed the acquisition of Marcos Senesi on a free transfer, which will be finalized once his contract with Bournemouth concludes on July 1.
If Brighton successfully secures both Vuskovic and Van Hecke, they will bolster their defensive options significantly, especially in a season where Spurs will not be competing in European football.
