Liverpool FC has officially signed defender Jeremy Jacquet from Stade Rennais on a long-term contract, pending international clearance. The agreement to bring the young French player to Anfield was reached earlier this year, and the transfer is expected to be finalized shortly.

Jacquet's Journey to Liverpool

Jeremy Jacquet joins Liverpool after progressing through the youth system at Rennes, where he made a total of 33 senior appearances. During the 2025-26 season, he played 21 matches before his campaign was cut short due to a shoulder injury sustained in February. Additionally, Jacquet gained valuable experience while on loan at Clermont Foot, where he made 24 appearances over a year-long stint.

The 20-year-old, who has represented France at the U21 level, expressed his enthusiasm about joining Liverpool.
