Liverpool agree deal to sign Spain forward Victor Munoz - Liverpool FC

Liverpool FC has reached an agreement to sign Spanish forward Victor Munoz. This acquisition aims to enhance the team's offensive capabilities.

Liverpool FC has reached an agreement to sign forward Victor Munoz from Osasuna, pending a successful work permit application and international clearance. The 22-year-old is currently representing Spain at the World Cup and has completed a medical examination at the team's training base in Tennessee, USA, where he has also signed a long-term contract.

International Duty and Club Performance

Munoz, who has earned two caps for the Spanish national team, made a notable debut against Serbia in March, scoring a goal. His international recognition follows a strong season with Osasuna, where he played 34 matches, netting seven goals and providing five assists across all competitions. He joined Osasuna last summer from Real Madrid, where he made four appearances after progressing through their youth system, having previously been part of FC Barcelona's academy.

Future with Liverpool

As Liverpool's first signing since the appointment of head coach Andoni Iraola, Munoz is expected to join his new teammates later this summer after the conclusion of the World Cup. He is set to participate in Spain's upcoming group-stage match against Saudi Arabia in Atlanta on Sunday.

This transfer marks the second addition to Liverpool's squad for the 2026-27 season, following an earlier agreement for Jeremy Jacquet. Fans can look forward to seeing Munoz in action as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
