Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news, stating, “Jürgen Klopp as new Germany head coach, here we go!” He noted that while Klopp has accepted the role, details regarding a long-term contract and his exit from Red Bull are still being discussed. Klopp's appointment comes at a crucial time for Germany, who have not won a major tournament since their 2014 World Cup victory. Under Nagelsmann, the team struggled to find cohesion, even in their notable 7-1 win against Curacao.
