Porto has officially finalized the permanent transfer of Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal following a successful loan period. The Polish international joined the Portuguese club last summer and played a significant role in helping Porto secure the league title with two matches remaining in the season.

During his time at Porto, Kiwior has contributed to a robust defensive unit that has allowed only 15 goals in 32 matches this season. This impressive statistic places Porto ahead of their closest rivals, Benfica, who have conceded 22 goals.

Transfer Details

Porto has confirmed that they have activated the purchase option for Kiwior, bringing him in for an initial fee of €17 million (approximately £14.66 million). This amount could increase by an additional €5 million based on performance-related targets. Furthermore, Arsenal stands to gain an extra €2 million from any future transfer involving Kiwior.

The defender has committed to a four-year deal with Porto, which includes a release clause set at €70 million.
