Perth Glory has announced that forward Jaiden Kucharski has committed to a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2029. The 23-year-old player joined the team ahead of the 2025/26 A-League season after making over 60 appearances for Sydney FC, where he also won an Australia Cup winner’s medal in 2023.

Impressive Debut Season

Kucharski made an immediate impact at Perth Glory, scoring on his debut against Wellington Phoenix in Round One. Throughout his first season with the club, he participated in 19 matches, netting two additional goals and providing three assists. One of his standout moments was a remarkable goal in Round 15 against Auckland FC at HBF Park, which earned him the club’s Goal of the Season Award and a spot on the shortlist for the A-League Men’s Goal of the Year.

Confidence in Kucharski's Potential

Stan Lazaridis, the Football Director at Perth Glory, expressed his confidence in Kucharski’s abilities, stating, “We’ve seen from day one just how talented JK is, and I believe that he is only going to get better.” Lazaridis highlighted Kucharski’s pace and finishing skills, noting that he is a challenging player for defenders to handle.
