Transfer Details

Jesus, who has also been a target for Serie A club Napoli, joined Arsenal from Manchester City four years ago in a deal worth £45 million. During his time at Arsenal, he has scored 32 goals in 123 appearances. However, his playing time was limited last season, where he made only three starts in the Premier League due to a knee injury sustained in January 2025.

Arsenal's Additional Transfer

In addition to the Jesus transfer, Arsenal has also agreed to sell midfielder Fabio Vieira to Hamburg for approximately £7.7 million. Vieira is expected to travel to Germany to finalize his move.

As Barcelona looks to strengthen its squad, head coach Hansi Flick expressed satisfaction with the team's current direction and recruitment efforts, highlighting the work of football director Deco. Flick stated, "Of course I am happy with my team," emphasizing that there is no pressure as they continue to enhance the squad.
