Fenerbahce has officially announced the acquisition of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku from Napoli. The Turkish Super Lig club confirmed the signing on Wednesday, marking a significant addition to their squad.

The 33-year-old Lukaku has signed a one-year contract with Fenerbahce, which includes an option for an additional year. A Return to His Roots

Lukaku's connection to Türkiye runs deep, as his father, Roger, played for Genclerbirligi in the 1996-97 season. Romelu spent time at the club’s facilities during his youth, making this return particularly meaningful for him. The club did not disclose the transfer fee, but reports suggest that Fenerbahce will pay Napoli €6 million (approximately $7 million), along with potential bonuses.
