Fenerbahçe has officially announced the signing of Romelu Lukaku, concluding a significant transfer process. The club's executive Cihan Kamer and soccer director Oğuz Çetin were present at the signing ceremony, where they addressed the media regarding the acquisition of the renowned striker.

Cihan Kamer expressed enthusiasm about finalizing the deal, stating, “We were presented with the top 2–3 options. We worked day and night to secure the best player. We’ve finalized the deal for Romelu Lukaku.” He emphasized the close communication with Lukaku over the past 10 to 15 days, describing their relationship as brotherly.
