Ezri Konsa has officially signed with Premier League champions Arsenal, moving from Aston Villa in a deal reported to be around £51 million ($69.4 million), with an additional £4 million in potential add-ons. This transfer comes after Villa rejected an initial bid of £30 million ($40.8 million) earlier this summer.

Konsa's Role at Arsenal

The addition of Konsa is aimed at strengthening Arsenal's squad as they prepare to defend their Premier League title and improve upon their recent Champions League campaign, where they finished as runners-up to Paris Saint-Germain in May. However, Konsa will not feature in Arsenal's Premier League opener against Coventry on Friday, but he could make his debut against his former club, Aston Villa, the following Monday.
