Denzel Dumfries: Real Madrid sign Dutch full-back from Inter Milan on four-year deal - BBC Sport
Denzel Dumfries has officially signed with Real Madrid on a four-year contract after transferring from Inter Milan, bolstering the team's defense.

Real Madrid has officially acquired Dutch full-back Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan on a four-year contract. The transfer fee remains unconfirmed, but it is reported that the Spanish club activated Dumfries' release clause, which was set at 20 million euros (£17.1 million).
New Addition to Madrid's Roster
Dumfries becomes Real Madrid's fourth signing of the summer, joining Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, and Ibrahima Konate. His arrival is expected to enhance competition for the right-back position, particularly against England international Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Successful Stint at Inter Milan
During his time at Inter Milan, Dumfries played a pivotal role in the team's success, contributing to two Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia victories since his transfer from PSV in 2021. Over 207 appearances for the Nerazzurri, he scored 27 goals and provided 28 assists. Additionally, Dumfries was part of the Netherlands squad that reached the last 32 in this summer's World Cup.
Following a trophyless season, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has emphasized the need to bolster the club's defensive lineup, which includes the reappointment of Jose Mourinho as manager.
