After joining North Carolina Courage in 2024, Vine faced difficulties, making only 23 appearances and scoring twice while taking time off to focus on her mental health.

With the departure of golden boot winner Holly McNamara to Everton, Vine's arrival makes her the standout signing for Melbourne City.
