Everton FC has officially confirmed the signing of midfielder Christian Nørgaard from Arsenal. The 32-year-old Denmark international has joined the Toffees on a two-year contract, with the transfer fee speculated to be around £7 million. Nørgaard, who gained prominence during his six seasons with Brentford, made a total of 196 appearances for the club. He earned 41 caps for the Danish national team, making his debut against England in 2020. Last summer, he transferred to Arsenal for £10 million, plus an additional £2 million in add-ons. However, his time with the Premier League champions saw him make only 20 appearances, with just seven of those in league matches.
