Strasbourg has completed the signing of Chelsea forward Omari Kellyman on a permanent basis. This transfer marks the 20th transaction between the two clubs since they both came under the ownership of the American group, BlueCo.

The agreement includes a buyback clause and is anticipated to be the first of three deals between Chelsea and Strasbourg this week. In addition to Kellyman, Chelsea striker Deivid Washington is poised to make a similar move to the French club. At just 20 years old, Kellyman joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in 2024 for a fee of £19 million. Unfortunately, his time at Stamford Bridge was marred by a series of hamstring injuries, preventing him from making any first-team appearances. However, he did enjoy a productive loan spell at Cardiff City in League One, contributing to their promotion back to the Championship last season.
