Manchester City and Aston Villa's Fixtures

Manchester City, who narrowly advanced through the league phase last season, will encounter defending champions Paris Saint-Germain and also travel to Barcelona. Aston Villa, rewarded for their Europa League triumph, will play PSG at home, Barcelona away, and Borussia Dortmund at home.

Manchester United will host Bayern Munich at Old Trafford, revisiting the iconic 1999 Champions League final, while also facing Atletico Madrid away and Roma at home. The draw features a total of 36 teams, with each side playing eight matches—four at home and four away—culminating in 144 matches during the league phase.

Notably, English clubs cannot face each other in the league phase, and UEFA has implemented a new rule preventing teams that have met in the previous two seasons from clashing again. This regulation ensures that matchups like Liverpool vs. Real Madrid and Inter Milan vs. Arsenal will not occur in the 2026/27 league phase. The complete fixtures and dates will be announced by UEFA by Saturday, with matches scheduled across several dates from September to January.
