Carlton legend reveals FULL extent of Legends Game injury - Zero Hanger
A Carlton legend shares the complete details of his injury sustained during the Legends Game, shedding light on its implications for his future in football.

Carlton legend Brendan Fevola has disclosed the serious nature of his knee injury sustained during the AFL Legends Game last Thursday. The former goal-kicking star revealed he has suffered a torn MCL, torn meniscus, torn PCL, and a shattered kneecap.
Initial Diagnosis and Scans
Fevola initially believed he had only partially torn his quad tendon after a collision with teammate Nick Cody during a marking contest in the first quarter. However, after undergoing scans on Friday, he received a more severe diagnosis. “The doctor called me and said, ‘Everything's good!... you've done a good job; there's a ligament tear, but you're going to be fine,” Fevola recounted on The Fox's Fifi, Fev & Nick.
Further Examination
Despite the initial reassurance, Fevola felt something was amiss when he was unable to move his leg. He consulted with the Richmond Football Club doctor, who reviewed the scan results and confirmed the extent of the damage. “He was like, ‘Urgh! Geez, you've done a good job! Mate, I can see you've got a torn MCL, torn meniscus, a tear in your PCL, and your kneecap is shattered, it's broken!’ I was like, well, that explains it,” Fevola stated.
Fevola acknowledged that the PCL injury was not new, indicating he had previously sustained damage. He now faces a recovery period of at least 6 to 12 weeks as he begins the healing process.
