Brisbane Roar has bolstered its squad for the upcoming 2026-27 Isuzu UTE A-League season by signing German winger Marko Ilic on a two-year contract. The 27-year-old joins the Roar following a successful stint with TSV Havelse in the German 3. Liga, where he played a pivotal role in the team's performance.

Impressive Track Record

Ilic was a consistent presence on the pitch for TSV Havelse during the 2025-26 season, participating in all 38 league matches. Over the course of the season, he logged more than 2,400 minutes of play, contributing six goals and five assists to his team's efforts. His primary position as a left winger showcases his attacking capabilities, and his versatility allows him to operate across the front line.

Brisbane Roar's Sporting Director, James Gow, expressed enthusiasm about Ilic's arrival, stating, “Marko is exactly the kind of attacker we’ve been targeting.
