Brisbane Roar has officially appointed Johnathan Clemente as the new head coach of their A-League Women team, making him the youngest manager in the league's history at just 27 years old. This significant announcement was made as the club prepares for the upcoming season.

Clemente's Background and Experience

Before joining Brisbane Roar, Clemente served as an assistant coach at Melbourne Victory, where he worked under head coach Jeff Hopkins with the A-League Women side. His coaching journey began early; he became the youngest head coach of a National Premier League team when he took charge of Heidelberg United at the age of 20. During his tenure there, he successfully developed ten players who went on to sign with A-League squads.
