APL announces new partnership with Paramount ANZ | Melbourne Victory

The APL has formed a strategic partnership with Paramount ANZ, aimed at boosting the visibility and engagement of Melbourne Victory. This collaboration promises to enhance fan experiences and broaden the club's digital presence.

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has announced the extension of its media partnership with Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) for an additional three years. This renewed agreement aims to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the A-Leagues through broader free-to-air exposure and improved content distribution.

Details of the Partnership

As part of the new deal, all matches from the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s and Ninja A-League Women’s will be available live on Paramount+. This makes Paramount+ the exclusive platform for fans to watch every match as it unfolds. Additionally, one Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s match each week will be broadcast live and free-to-air on Network 10, with marquee games featured on the primary channel, 10.

Every Ninja A-League Women’s match will also be accessible live on Paramount+, and all games will be available for free on 10 Streaming. The partnership includes the broadcast of ten women’s matches live and free-to-air on 10 Drama each season, culminating in the Grand Final. Fans can also enjoy highlights, replays, and mini segments for every match on Paramount+.

Commitment to Growth

Steve Rosich, CEO of the APL, expressed satisfaction with the renewed partnership, highlighting the extensive market process that underscored the demand for the A-Leagues. He noted that Paramount+ and Network 10 not only provide a commercial growth opportunity but also the best free-to-air exposure for football in Australia. Rosich emphasized the partnership's potential to grow audiences and enhance the overall experience for fans.

Adam Cush, Director of Sport at Paramount ANZ, also expressed pride in continuing the partnership, which has now extended to a total of eight years. The agreement includes an increased annual rights fee and a commitment to boost marketing and promotional efforts, as well as expanding the accessibility of A-Leagues content in pubs and clubs.

This announcement comes just ahead of the historic Isuzu UTE A-League 2026 Grand Final, which will be the first Grand Final held in New Zealand and is already sold out, following two sold-out Semi Finals in Adelaide and Newcastle.
