APL announces new partnership with Paramount ANZ - A-Leagues
The APL has formed a strategic partnership with Paramount ANZ, aiming to elevate the A-Leagues' visibility and engagement in the region. This collaboration promises exciting content and improved fan experiences.

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has announced the extension of its media partnership with Paramount Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) for an additional three years. This renewed agreement aims to enhance the visibility and accessibility of the A-Leagues, providing fans with more opportunities to engage with the sport.
Expanded Coverage and Accessibility
As part of the new partnership, every match from the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s and Ninja A-League Women’s will be available live on Paramount+. This makes Paramount+ the exclusive platform for fans to watch all matches as they unfold. Additionally, one Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s match each week will be broadcast live and free-to-air on Network 10, with marquee games airing on the primary channel, 10.
All Ninja A-League Women’s matches will also be accessible live on Paramount+, alongside free broadcasts on 10 Streaming. The partnership includes ten women’s matches each season that will be shown live and free-to-air on 10 Drama, culminating in the Grand Final. Fans can also enjoy highlights, replays, and mini segments for both leagues on Paramount+.
Commitment to Growth
This three-year extension brings the total partnership duration to eight years, reflecting a shared vision for growth between the A-Leagues and Paramount ANZ. The agreement includes an increased annual rights fee and a commitment to enhance marketing and promotional efforts, as well as broaden the availability of A-Leagues content in pubs and clubs.
Steve Rosich, CEO of the Australian Professional Leagues, expressed satisfaction with the renewed partnership, stating, “After an extensive open market process which showcased the demand and value of the A-Leagues, we’re really pleased to renew our partnership with Paramount+ and Network 10 – the home of Australian football.” He emphasized that the partnership not only supports commercial growth but also maximizes free-to-air exposure for fans.
Adam Cush, Director of Sport at Paramount Australia and New Zealand, echoed the sentiment, expressing pride in the ongoing collaboration with the APL. The announcement comes just ahead of the historic Isuzu UTE A-League 2026 Grand Final, which will take place on New Zealand soil and has already sold out, following two sold-out semi-finals in Adelaide and Newcastle.
