Andre Brooks: Norwich City signing Sheffield United winger - BBC Sport
Norwich City has officially signed winger Andre Brooks from Sheffield United. The move is part of the club's strategy to enhance their team ahead of the new season.

Norwich City has secured the signing of winger Andre Brooks from Championship opponents Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old Jamaica international has committed to a five-year deal with the Canaries, marking him as manager Philippe Clement's second acquisition of the summer following the recent loan agreement for Brazilian defender Bruno Alves.
Brooks' Career at Sheffield United
Brooks joined the Sheffield United academy at just eight years old and has since made a total of 96 senior appearances across all competitions, netting nine goals. His experience in the Championship includes 39 appearances last season, showcasing his potential and readiness for the next step in his career.
Player's Ambitions with Norwich
In a statement on the Norwich City website, Brooks expressed his enthusiasm for the move, stating, "Speaking to the gaffer and all of the staff, their ambitions and goals for the season really appealed to me." He emphasized his versatility as a winger, indicating that he is prepared to contribute on both ends of the pitch: "I think the head coach will want me to play on both sides, attack and defend, and I feel like I'm the perfect man for that. I'm just going to try to help him and the team as much as I can."
Norwich City finished ninth in the Championship last season, falling eight points short of the play-offs after a challenging start in which they were third from bottom. The team is set to kick off the new season at home against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, 15 August.
