Charlotte FC has officially announced the signing of French forward Allan Saint-Maximin, who joins the club as a Designated Player on a free transfer from RC Lens. The 29-year-old left-winger has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2028/29 Major League Soccer season.

With a market value of €10 million, Saint-Maximin becomes the most valuable player in Charlotte's squad and ranks among the top five most valuable players in MLS. Following his stint in Mexico, he returned to France, where he scored three goals and provided three assists in ten matches for RC Lens. Over his career, Saint-Maximin has played a total of 384 games, netting 50 goals and contributing 60 assists across all competitions.
