''All sealed now' - Fabrizio Romano claims Portsmouth to sign striker Marko Milovanovic after €6m deal struck
Portsmouth is on the verge of signing striker Marko Milovanovic after reaching a €6m agreement. This move is expected to bolster their squad significantly.

Portsmouth FC has successfully secured the signing of striker Marko Milovanovic, marking a significant addition to their squad. The deal, reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, has been finalized with the Spanish club UD Almeria for a fee of €6 million (approximately £5.1 million).
Details of the Transfer
Milovanovic, who spent last season on loan at Alverca in Portugal, scored 10 goals in 32 appearances, boosting his profile as a promising talent. The agreement includes a 15-percent sell-on clause, ensuring Almeria benefits from any future transfer. Personal terms were reportedly not a concern, as the 22-year-old was eager to join Portsmouth.
Pompey's Transfer Strategy
This transfer represents the largest fee Portsmouth has paid since their time in the Premier League, signaling their ambition in the current transfer window. Earlier, the club had submitted an initial bid of £2.5 million, which included a 10 percent sell-on clause, but this was rejected by Almeria, who sought a higher return on their investment from the original £3 million they paid to Partizan Belgrade for Milovanovic.
As Portsmouth continues to strengthen their squad, they are also expected to finalize the arrival of Rocco Shein for a fee exceeding £2 million. The acquisition of Milovanovic showcases the club's intent to enhance their competitive edge in the upcoming season.
